I just wanted to start a quick “Introductions” thread so we can all figure out who is who 🙂
I’m David, the software monkey at Barobo. I wrote the majority of the Linkbot firmware, as well as the majority of the Linkbot control library (Written in C/C++/Python), and BaroboLink, the graphical robot control interface. I also designed (and/or borrowed) all of the communications protocols that happen between the Linkbots, or the Linkbots and the computer. If there are any questions regarding programming the Linkbots, or general usage, I’d be happy to answer them!
I’m Brian, one of the Mechanical Engineering Interns here at Barobo. I designed and built most of the linkbot configurations seen in the kickstarter video. If you have any questions about what you saw in the kickstarter video, or if you just want advice on how to design something you had in mind, I’d be happy to help.
