I was excited to try the linkbots with the raspberry pi. I used the instructions from here: http://wiki.linkbotlabs.com/wiki/Getting_Started#Raspberry_Pi_.28Raspbian.29

Everything worked fine except for the last step, and I got this error:
    pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo easy_install3 –upgrade –index-url=http://barobo.com:8080/simple PyLinkbot
    Searching for PyLinkbot
    Reading http://barobo.com:8080/simple/PyLinkbot/
    error: timed out

    Hi raystuckey,

Sorry about that, it appears that our server was down. If you get a chance, please try again with the same command. Thanks!

I’m still getting the “timed out” error today.

    Hello,

Please try these direct links… Sorry the automatic installation scripts aren’t working for you…

You should be able to install the file by navigating to its location in a terminal and running the command

    easy_install3

    Hi Guys,

I have finished the installation of PyLinkbot, but I have no idea for the connection between my raspberry pi and the linkbot. Have you tried that? And does that work?

    Best

    Chen
