Educational Partner Associate (full-time)
Location: Davis, CA
Barobo is in a high-growth stage and is seeking an Educational Partner Associate who is passionate about making a difference in the lives and futures of K-12 students. In this role you will target key school and district district decision makers to provide solutions that accelerate student success toward district initiatives. You will focus on identifying and initiating new business opportunities while developing existing customer relationships. The ideal candidate is driven and organized, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
-
Promote Barobo’s products and curriculum to school districts in California and throughout the United States via via email, phone, social media, online meetings, demos, and in-person events and conference exhibitor booths
-
Provide support for schools and school districts using Barobo curriculum and products
-
Respond to inquiries from schools and school districts, make recommendations, prepare quotes, and follow up on quotes, orders, and licenses
-
Provide administrative support to schools and districts for RoboPlay competitions
-
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, and customer support) to ensure client needs are met and exceeded
-
Perform other related duties as assigned in a team environment
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in education, business, math, CS, or related field
-
Experience in K-12 education as a teacher or administrative staff is a plus
-
Understanding of educational technology, curriculum needs, and challenges facing educational institutions
-
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
-
Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills, with significant experience making presentations
-
Must be willing and able to travel up to 25-30% (vehicle and valid driver's license required; both local and distance travel, in California and other states)

Experience with Google office suite

Experience with social media platforms

Experience with image and video editing software

Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus

This is a full-time, in-person position (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm). The pay rate is $24/hour to $34/hour. An individual’s base salary will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

EdTech Sales and Content Specialist (full-time)
Location: Davis, CA
Barobo is in a high-growth stage and is seeking an EdTech Sales & Content Specialist, to be based at our main office in Davis, CA. In this role you will assist in promoting and supporting Barobo’s products and work with school districts, primarily in California and nearby states. This role focuses on educator engagement, program awareness, demos, and adoption support.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of Barobo’s products and solutions--curriculum, pedagogy, and technology

Promote Barobo’s products and curriculum to school districts via email, phone, in-person appointments, conferences, and online and in-person pre-sales presentations

Discover new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
-
Research and identify potential contacts in school districts and counties
-
Develop and support Barobo’s relationships with district and school administrators
-
Update sales and marketing resources and contacts in spreadsheets and documents
-
Track responses to emails, phone calls, and other marketing efforts
-
Attentively listen to customer feedback and provide insights to the Barobo team

Answer email and phone as needed for customer support

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (quantitative or STEM field preferred)

Knowledgeable about and comfortable with high school math up through pre-calculus

K-12 Math and CS Education Specialist (full-time)
Location: Davis, CA
Barobo is seeking a K-12 Math and CS Education Specialist, to be based at our main office in Davis, CA. In this role you will create innovative, standards-based lessons, activities, and resources for TK-12 students learning math, computer science, and STEAM, as well as building engagement and success through on-site and remote professional development and interactions with teachers and school and district administrators. You will need excellent interpersonal skills and instructional strengths in presenting meaningful, engaging presentations and workshops. Senior Software Engineer, Web Applications (full-time)

Build, refine, and maintain the full-stack web application for the RoboBlocky platform (www.roboblocky.com)

Collaborate with the executive team to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Utilize a variety of programming languages, web development tools, database technologies, cloud services, networking and security tools, and AI tools

Assist in monitoring and optimizing real-time product performance

Respond in a timely manner to fix bugs that have been identified, whether from internal or external sources

Significant working experience with PHP, Node.js, HTML, CSS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, nginx, and Linux, as well as front-end technologies (e.g., React) and cloud hosting technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
