Sales Internship (part-time)

Support sales of innovative robotic systems with Barobo, a start-up robotics company developing educational robotics based in downtown Davis. This paid internship presents the opportunity to assist in Barobo’s sales strategy and process and gain account management and inside sales experience. Visit to learn more about Barobo.


Activities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Learn about Barobo and its products and use that knowledge to educate our customers on how we solve their problems

  • Make phone calls and send emails to prospective customers in schools and school districts

  • Discover new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails

  • Attentively listen to customer feedback and provide insights to the Barobo team on customers and how to modify the sales process

  • Research and identify potential contacts in school districts and counties

  • Update marketing and sales contacts in spreadsheets and documents

  • Track responses to emails, phone calls, and other marketing efforts

  • Answer email and phone as needed for customer support



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High degree of organization and self-motivation 

  • Energetic, persuasive, flexible, and desire to work in a fast paced environment 

  • Must be US citizen or permanent resident


Preferred Level

  • Undergraduate: sophomore, junior, or senior

  • Previous sales and/or customer relations experience is a plus
