Education Technology Specialist (full-time)
The Education Technology Specialist is responsible for the effective application of Barobo educational robotics technology by educators and students. You will develop applications and curriculum, provide pre and post- sale support, and provide training for educators on integrating Barobo robotics programs into their teaching.
​
Responsibilities
-
Support teachers/schools/districts/colleges/afterschool programs to integrate Barobo robotics technology into their CS and STEAM education
-
Develop applications, curriculum, tutorials, videos using Barobo robotics hardware and software
-
Provide training for CS and STEAM teachers
-
Make presentations and provide tech support to customers
-
Participate in tradeshows and conferences
-
Create and keep product documentation up to date.
-
Make appropriate product recommendations and provide quotations for products in accordance with pricing and delivery policy.
-
Respond to telephone calls or correspondence from customers
-
Work within CRM system to capture customer communications to help turn leads into business partners
-
Generate RMA forms, document information from customers; perform follow up on sales activity
-
Perform other related duties as assigned in a start-up environment

Qualifications and Requirements
-
Took or taught a programming course in C, C++, or Java with a strong programming experience
-
Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Math, Physics, Education Technology, Math Education, Engineering Education, or other relevant field.

Excellent teaching / training skills
-
A self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and can run with ideas or projects, able to wear many different hats
-
Strong computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
-
Extensive travelling is required
-
Web development experience is a plus
-
Social media promotion and marketing experience is a plus

Teaching experience is a plus
-
Experience conducting professional development for teachers is a plus
-
Robotics, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi experience is a plus

Production and Office Coordinator (full-time)
The Production and Office Coordinator will oversee daily operational and production activities including general office management, customer service, event and travel arrangements, recordkeeping, production and inventory management, order fulfillment, packaging and shipping, and light accounting.
Responsibilities

General office management and getting things done

Oversee production of all Barobo products and order fulfillment through CRM and accounting systems
-
Order materials from suppliers and ensure production facility is properly stocked for each production run
-
Interact with customers via email and phone, and manage product returns
-
Analyze operational data and processes to maximize efficiency
-
Ensure that all safety related concerns are communicated and addressed
-
Keep production area clean and organized at all times
-
Work with sales and marketing to help grow and scale-up operations and production capacity
-
Perform other related duties as assigned in a start-up environment
Qualifications and Requirements

Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks & handle multiple projects, with good attention to detail

Strong computer skills including Word and Excel

Production Lead (full-time)
The Production Lead will oversee daily operational and production activities including robot production, quality control, supply chain / component sourcing, packaging, inventory management, order fulfillment, and related accounting.

Responsibilities
-
Oversee production of all Barobo products and order fulfillment through CRM and accounting systems

Work with suppliers to order materials and ensure production facility is properly stocked for each production run

Manage inventory for production

Manage RMA
-
Lead, guide, motivate and communicate to line employees professionally and competently

Provide training and development to new and existing employees to cultivate high performing teams

Analyze operational data and processes to maximize efficiency

Work with sales and management team to plan production schedule using sales forecasts

Product Assembler (full-time)
The Product Assembler will work on the production of Barobo robots and related products with mechanical and electrical assembling.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret process instructions, work orders, and reports

Solder electronic boards for small robot

Assemble mechanical components
-
Test product functional performance to ensure conformance to specifications
-
Pack packages with electronic and plastic components
-
Handle the shipment of robots and related products
-
Maintain a clean and safe work area
-
Perform other related duties as assigned in a start-up environment

Production Intern (part-time)
The Production Intern will assist with the production of Barobo robots and related products with mechanical and electrical assembling.
