Professional Learning Schedule

Find a Professional Learning Opportunity

Explore upcoming RoboBlocky Professional Learning opportunities for educators. Scheduled sessions are typically offered for TK–12 educators and may be delivered online through Zoom, in person at Barobo, or at other designated locations.

Individual educators may register for scheduled sessions. Schools, districts, County Offices of Education, state agencies, and other educational organizations may also request customized Professional Learning based on their implementation needs.

Upcoming Professional Learning Sessions

New Professional Learning sessions will be added as they become available.

What to Expect

Professional Learning sessions may focus on RoboBlocky Curriculum Programs, instructional frameworks and strategies, the RoboBlocky Platform, virtual and physical robots, block- and text-based programming, robotics hardware, engineering design, and classroom implementation.

Most general sessions support educators across TK–12. Some sessions may focus on specific Curriculum Programs, courses, grade levels, grade bands, or instructional topics.

No prior coding or robotics experience is required unless otherwise noted for a specific session.

Continuing Education Units and Computer Science Supplementary Authorization

Selected Professional Learning opportunities may provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through UC Merced Professional and Continuing Education (PACE), in partnership with Barobo.

UC Merced PACE, in partnership with Barobo, also offers a CTC-aligned Computer Science Supplementary Authorization program for K–12 educators.

Customized Professional Learning

Schools, districts, County Offices of Education, state agencies, and other educational organizations can arrange customized Professional Learning for school and district implementations, regional initiatives, and grant-funded programs.

Sessions can be customized around Curriculum Programs, grade levels, instructional priorities, educator experience, implementation schedules, and local needs. Professional Learning may be delivered online, at Barobo, or at a school, district, county, or other organization site.

Follow-up sessions, coaching, and ongoing implementation support can also be arranged.
